Extension to develop tribal-focused leadership program
The Tribes Lead! program will assist leadership of the Great Lakes Tribal Nations as they address strategic issues impacting their communities.
Extension works with community leaders to remove institutional barriers, create inclusive organizations and ensure equitable opportunity for people who have been traditionally underrepresented.

Grantmakers for Girls of Color (G4GC) and the Ms. Foundation hosted a funders briefing on Thursday, July 16, 2020, with Dr. Monique W. Morris in conversation with African American Policy Forum’s Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw. The webinar focused on why philanthropy must meet this moment to address anti-Black racism and other forms of injustice by increasing its investment in movements and organizations led by Black women and gender-expansive people, and that support Black girls and gender-expansive youth.
